Since it began in 2002, the event has grown every year, with the 2009 festival attracting over 2,000 owners, smart lovers, celebrities, and enthusiasts. And this year's smart festival promises to be even bigger and better!

Highlights will include the chance to put the latest zero-emission smart fortwo electric drive through its paces. With its range of around 84 miles it takes electric performance to new levels - and all you need to charge it is a standard 13 amp socket.

thesmartclub will also be supporting us this year, as in previous years. Al Young, Chairman and Managing Director, thesmartclub ltd comments: "As thesmartclub celebrates its 10th Anniversary and longstanding association with smart, the 2010 smart Festival is sure to be a 'must attend' event for smart owners and all car enthusiasts. The unparalleled diversity and spectacle of countless car colours, modifications and attractions reflects the never ending passion and enthusiasm for the cars and the smart brand."

You'll also be able to check out yet more stunning examples from the smart BRABUS tailor made collection. From eye-catching colour ways and sticker designs to bespoke interiors, smart BRABUS tailor made lets you transform your smart into the ultimate style statement.

This year, we're also asking you to suggest attractions and activities you'd like to see at the event. Just go to the smart community website www.destinationsmart.co.uk and send in your ideas. In previous years competitions have included 'Most Modified', 'Best Kept' and 'Best Dressed' smarts as well as smart driving games such as crazy golf and egg and spoon. So let your imagination run wild and we'll see what we can do! Click here to find out more about the competitions we already have planned for smart festival 2010.

You can also stay up to date with all the latest plans via Twitter @smartfortwoUK, at destinationsmart or by signing up for our Park & Read newsletter here.
